VitalView® is EMS's flagship cloud monitoring platform — like having a Fieldpiece connected and viewable 24/7 via a web-based dashboard. Small, lightweight modules are added to the Air Handler and Condenser units (low power consumption <1.75 VA). More than 25 measured values are recorded and transmitted every minute to Amazon Web Services, stored for analysis, trending, and historical access.
Air Handler Module
- Measures blower current, delta-T, humidity, 24V supply, float switch, fuse status
- Low power: <1.75 VA — no load on system
- WiFi-connected directly to AWS cloud
- Industrial-grade sensors rated for 24/7 uptime
Condenser / Compressor Module
- Measures compressor current, refrigerant pressure, peak pressure, reversing valve
- Motor current draw trending for predictive failure alerts
- Compatible with standard residential and commercial systems
- BACnet/IP and Modbus integration available
Authorized service analysts can perform diagnostics and temporary system management remotely — without a truck roll.
Force Compressor
Remotely activate the compressor to observe system pressures and motor current — validating functionality without a site visit.
Force Blower
Remote activation of the blower to confirm normal airflow and motor operation from the cloud dashboard.
Force Heat
Test reversing valve operation in heat pumps and validate heat function remotely — no dispatch required.
Thermostat Mode
Remotely replace a failed local thermostat — keep a vacant property cooled until a technician arrives on-site. Critical for property managers.
